Thanks for sharing your experience. I was just diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis and the rheumatologist kept asking me about my colon. I just started a daily notebook for what I ate, did and how I felt. I dreaded having to cook and adhere to a strict diet. Reading how you cope made it less scary.

Speaking of asian foods, have you tried soybeans? My mother used to make tofu from scratch and she made a tasty stir fry from the leftover soy bean pulp. It had lots of fiber and a pleasant, nutty flavor. If you want, I can email her and try to get her recipe.
