The bloom in that second photo looks so amazingly exotic that it almost looks like plumes from a rare bird. Really beautiful. Hope you are enjoying the beginning of Spring!

Such pretty photos! I was looking forward so much to my mini irises, but they're planted outside the fence and with the dog no longer there to shoo them away, the deer decided I had planted a buffet. I'm crossing my fingers, but not holding my breath, that the species tulips might be left to bloom . . . Your irises are so delicate, thanks for sharing them.
