What an undertaking. I always feel so much nervous energy at this time of the year. Applying it to the garden is a perfect idea. You will reap the benefits when the weather tells you to be lazy!

I'm impressed -- that was lots of work, but will be well worth it when you pop open that first pod! The realtor who sold our first home did so, in part, by using the peas in our garden, picking some of the vine to offer to potential buyers. I haven't had much of a veggie garden since, but we did get a few raised beds in last year and my hope for Pater's retirement is that he gets interested in that (which could mean some trees coming down to give the plot the sunlight it needs).

Peas for St. Patrick's Day is a fantastic tradition. I love peas from a garden. They are so much better than store bought peas.
